In this book, author Alan Tutt gives you EVERYTHING you need to understand the Power of Belief and put it into ACTION in your life. You'll get hundreds of references to scientific studies which have PROVEN that our beliefs have a tremendous impact on the events in our lives. You'll also get a complete bibliography (list of other books) to get more information if you feel you need it. Alan also explains, in minute detail, why the connection between our beliefs and reality is not as obvious as you'd think it should be. Once you understand a concept Alan calls the "Belief Hierarchy," it all makes sense. Of course, understanding WHY the Power of Belief works is only part of the solution. Knowing HOW to use it is where the real results begin. You'll learn about a remarkable way to actually MEASURE the strength of any belief you current have, and several lists of questions to use to map our your current belief system. Once you know where you are now, you'll have an easy time figuring out how to get to where you want to be. In fact, Alan Tutt shows you 3 different ways to discover what you currently believe. One way, a process he calls "Belief Archeology," will uncover hidden beliefs behind specific issues, and will show you exactly how to map out your transformation process. From here, "Choose To Believe" gives you over a dozen practical, easy to use, techniques to change any belief. If you wanted, you could convince yourself that 2+2=6, but that probably wouldn't be very useful. Changing some of your beliefs may at first seem just as outlandish, such as believing that money can come out of nowhere, or that loving relationships "just happen." And to give you a COMPLETE system, Alan also shows you how to get the most dramatic results with the least amount of time and effort. In fact, as several of the case studies in the book show, you can change major beliefs with a simple decision to do so. And yes, he shows you HOW. You really CAN have it all, when you CHOOSE TO BELIEVE!

The message of To Believe in Jesus is heartening, if disconcerting, for it stands a common assumption on its head. The way to holiness is not through dramatic renunciation, and holiness itself is not just for the 'specialists', clergy and religious. Holiness cannot be struggled for and won - it can only be given, and all that is necessary is that we should ask. As soon as we cease to strive for virtue, concentrating attention uselessly on ourselves, and instead recognise our weakness, our need, the way is open to encounter God and the holiness of Jesus which is His gift.

What is Winning? The Secret That May Surprise You This seems rather obvious, but it isn't necessarily. What you consider ""winning"" will depend on how you've been trained since birth and the mindset you've stacked as a result. Look at a race. Thousands enter a marathon. Only one is first. He's the winner. What are the rest called? Also-rans. What was the difference? Mindset. Those competitors who came in first are those who had a certain mindset to succeed. Who are other big winners ? The race sponsors. Those are all winners, too. The people who made a sizable increase in income from any sporting event are winners, too. If they didn't take the risk, they wouldn't have made that extra income. That also takes a certain mindset. All winning has also-rans who were there as well as the crowd who watched. What was the difference? Mindset. If you want routine, exceptional success in your life, you're going to have to know how to Choose, Believe, and Win. Get Your Copy Now.
Throughout her many years of servitude on this Christian journey, Lady Watkins has experienced and witnessed many faith-shattering circumstances that have inspired the writing of this book.
Author: Carla D Watkins
Throughout her many years of servitude on this Christian journey, Lady Watkins has experienced and witnessed many faith-shattering circumstances that have inspired the writing of this book. She desires to restore hope to others who may be thinking of "throwing in the towel" because they don't fully understand and grasp the concept of "Faith in Jesus" and the steadfastness and reliability of His Word in the face of adversity. Lady Watkins has a testimony that only God, through reliance on the power, strength, blood and the name of His Son Jesus, is the true source of love, comfort, strength, and endurance during these trying times. Lady Watkins has learned and can witness that when all else fails, God's promises to us are unbroken, but we have to know in whom we must trust, what promises are available to us and how to obtain them. It is her prayer and desire that we as the people of God re-cultivate and bring back to memory and existence the "Faith" which was once delivered unto the saints. (Jude 3 KJV).

I have had the privilege of knowing Valentina since 1991. We met in church and as a christian brother, in a Christ centered relationship, I have had the opportunity of encouraging Valentina as she courageously followed the steps of the Master as HE led her into the ministry of an evangelist on the streets, bringing in prostitutes, drug addicts and the homeless to the altar in church and on street corners where they presented their hearts and lives to Jesus. Valentina then entered the skid row of Vancouver where she ministered at the Revival Center Mission, Gospel Mission and the Rainbow Mission, not only serving food but preached the Word for over 14 years as well as ministering in a nursing home once every month faithfully preaching and encouraging the aged to believe in the Lord she so loved, trusted and served. I watched as she stepped into the Open Door Ministry; a house where God moved in the lives of 4 homeless souls at a time by the intercession of the prayer warrior for a period of 4 years. By this time, I knew that this was a gal that trusted In the Good Shepherd with her life, and especially so, as she opened up her take-out restaurant, named Little Spot, centered right smack in the tracks of the drug pushers who became her ministry. Valentina has been a product that introduced her Savior to many lost and hurting, but, I believe that her greater works are still just around the corner. So how do we choose what to believe—especially in the area of faith? Do we need to choose? In Choosing Your Faith, Mark Mittelberg encourages us, as Socrates does, not to lead an unexamined life.
Author: Mark Mittelberg
In a world of spiritual options, people constantly tell us what to believe. Yet, while we hear these pleas, we're already functioning with existing beliefs—even if they are beliefs by default. So how do we choose what to believe—especially in the area of faith? Do we need to choose? In Choosing Your Faith, Mark Mittelberg encourages us, as Socrates does, not to lead an unexamined life. He invites us to examine why we believe what we believe. This examination will resonate with Christians and seekers alike.

How do we form and modify our beliefs about the world? It is widely accepted that what we believe is determined by evidence, and is therefore not directly under our control; but according to what criteria is the credibility of the evidence established? Professor Helm argues that no theory of knowledge is complete without standards for accepting and rejecting evidence as belief-worthy. These standards, or belief-policies, are not themselves determined by evidence, but determine what counts as credible evidence. Unlike single beliefs, belief-policies are directly subject to the will, and therefore to the possibility of weakness of will and self-deception. Helm sets out to interpret standard epistemological positions in terms of belief-policies, and to illustrate their operation in the history of philosophy. He establishes connections between belief-policies, responsibility for beliefs, and the desirability of toleration, before reassessing fideism in the light of his argument.

According to platonists, entities such as numbers, sets, propositions and properties are abstract objects. But abstract objects lack causal powers and a location in space and time, so how could we ever come to know of the existence of such impotent and remote objects? In Knowledge, Cause, and Abstract Objects, Colin Cheyne presents the first systematic and detailed account of this epistemological objection to the platonist doctrine that abstract objects exist and can be known. Since mathematics has such a central role in the acquisition of scientific knowledge, he concentrates on mathematical platonism. He also concentrates on our knowledge of what exists, and argues for a causal constraint on such existential knowledge. Finally, he exposes the weaknesses of recent attempts by platonists to account for our supposed platonic knowledge. This book will be of particular interest to researchers and advanced students of epistemology and of the philosophy of mathematics and science. It will also be of interest to all philosophers with a general interest in metaphysics and ontology.
